What is CUMC Preschool?

Our classes emphasize, above all, the personal nature of God's love and the wonder of God's world. Because children learn through play, our program is designed to provide opportunities for social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual growth through hands-on learning experiences in a structured environment. Our teachers recognize each child's individuality by introducing concepts and skills appropriate to his or her stage of development.

We create a love for learning by meeting the children at their own stage of development and help them to feel success without pressure.

What are CUMC resources?

The CUMC teachers are its greatest resource. Each staff member is a dedicated Christian, and has a desire to serve God's children.

Every teacher is given the opportunity to participate in the IAEYC State Conferences and attend yearly workshops.

We believe children learn best in an atmosphere of love and acceptance. Thus we strive to maintain a happy, productive manner and use praise often.

While the school has grown, its mission and philosophy remain intact. We believe each child is created in the image of God and is unique.
